BNE Hardee’s are open 5 a.m. until 9 p.m. for carry-out, to-go, drive- thru and pick-up Door Dash delivery.

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (March 19, 2020) – The largest Hardee’s franchise operator in the United States, Boddie-Noell Enterprises, announced today it will go to drive-thru service only and suspend dining-in service except for pick-up at all of its 340-plus restaurant locations as a precaution against potential coronavirus concerns.

The company will also modify its operating hours to 5 a.m. to 9 p.m Monday through Saturday and Sunday 6 a.m at 9 p.m. at all 346 Hardee’s restaurants it owns and operates in North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina and eastern Kentucky. Boddie-Noell does not operate all Hardee’s locations in any of the four states and other franchisees may not have taken these steps taken by Boddie-Noell.

Customers can access the dining areas to place orders for delivery or pick-up by services. For instance, Uber Eats will offer free deliveries for the next two weeks.

“The safety of our employees and our guests is our top priority. We’ve made this decision to go to drive-thru, pick-up and delivery service only out of an abundance of caution and to assure our customers we take their safety and health seriously during this uncertain time,” said Mike Boddie, president of Boddie-Noell Enterprises. “It’s also to address any concerns our employees might have as we continue to put in place the best health and safety practices that we can.”

The company said it will maintain the drive thru and pick up-only service as long as it remains advisable or public health authorities ask restaurants to do so. It also is reducing operating hours to provide employees more time to maintain enhanced cleaning, sanitation and health measures.

Boddie-Noell already has put in place enhanced cleaning and sanitation practices at all of its Hardee’s locations. The company also provided additional training for employees to monitor their own health and take immediate steps if they have any health or illness concerns.

“We’re going to be as proactive as we possibly can to ensure that our restaurants meet or exceed health and safety requirements and to take additional measures that our customers would expect of us as members of hundreds of local communities at this time,” said Boddie.

RALEIGH, N.C. – (May 10, 2017) – RelyMD, North Carolina’s only independent virtual health service, is expanding its partnership with Piedmont Health Services, a group of 10 healthcare locations serving 14 counties in the Piedmont region, to provide after-hours coverage to all Piedmont Health Services patients. In 2016, RelyMD became available to established patients of Piedmont’s Scott Community Health Center in Burlington and after a successful experience at that location, the two companies have agreed to extend coverage to all 10 Health Center locations.

A statewide virtual health service that provides 24/7/365 access to board-certified emergency medicine doctors for both children and adults, RelyMD’s web and mobile-based service allows patients to quickly obtain high-quality medical care – via computer, smartphone, tablet, or phone call – with one of RelyMD’s 100 Raleigh-based physicians.

The partnership allows Piedmont Health to continue focusing on its mission to provide comprehensive healthcare services and education to all in the community, with special emphasis on those who previously haven’t received proper healthcare or who lacked access to services. By offering RelyMD’s services, Piedmont Health is able to add after-hours care to a list of patient-focused benefits provided by the group and support their motto that “healthy citizens make for a healthy community.”

“Our patients are our number one priority and anything we can do to improve their healthcare while reducing costs to them is of vital importance to us,” from Abigail DeVries, MD, Medical Director at Piedmont Health Services. “We’ve had a great experience with RelyMD at our Scott Community Health Center and we’re thrilled to expand this partnership to our other locations. Allowing our patients to access quality healthcare at a reduced rate when our locations are closed for the day will be an excellent resource for them.”

“We’ve loved working with Piedmont Health Services through the Scott Community Health Center and are looking forward to providing telemedicine services to their other seven locations,” said Dr. Bobby Park, co-founder of RelyMD. “The virtual healthcare services of RelyMD can be particularly beneficial to Federally Qualified Health Centers like those of Piedmont, in that we are able to provide exemplary medical care and facilitate a great patient experience while still reducing costs.”

Piedmont Health’s 42,000 established patients will be able to access RelyMD for just $40 per visit. Piedmont Health employees have also had access to this service for over a year. More information is available at: http://relymd.com/piedmont/.

About RelyMD: RelyMD is a statewide virtual health service that provides 24/7 access to board-certified emergency medicine doctors for both children and adults via video consultation. Patients are able to seek treatment from a doctor with an average wait time of less than 10 minutes via web browser or mobile app. RelyMD is owned and staffed by Wake Emergency Physicians, PA, a group of 100 emergency medicine physicians who provide care to approximately 300,000 patients annually at hospitals throughout the region. To learn more about how RelyMD works, visit www.relymd.com.

About Piedmont Health: Piedmont Health was founded in 1970 by a group of health care professionals at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and local community members concerned with access to primary healthcare in the community. Known then as Orange-Chatham Comprehensive Health Services, Inc. (OCCHS), the agency was organized to provide comprehensive healthcare services and education to all in the community, with special emphasis on those who weren’t receiving proper healthcare and who lacked access to services. For over 47 years, we have been committed to helping change the lives of everyone in our communities, whether that’s through our medical services, dental care, on-site pharmacy, nutrition counseling or disease management. With ten convenient locations, serving 14 counties in the Piedmont region, the health of you and your family is our top priority. We have locations in Chatham, Alamance, Lee, and Orange Counties.

RALEIGH, N.C. – (March 21, 2017) – RelyMD, North Carolina’s only independent telehealth service, is partnering with Well Care Home Health, a provider of highly specialized home healthcare services to 40 counties in the state. All Well Care employees and their dependents who utilize the company’s medical plan will have access to RelyMD as an alternative to urgent care or after-hours visits for non-emergency injuries and illnesses. Each visit with RelyMD will come at reduced rate of $10 for Well Care employees.

RelyMD provides statewide virtual health services 24/7/365 with access to board-certified emergency medicine physicians. This web and mobile-based approach allows adult and pediatric patients to quickly obtain high-quality medical care – via an internet connection and web browser or app on a smartphone or tablet – with one of RelyMD’s 100 Triangle-based physicians.

“RelyMD was founded and is staffed by a group of board-certified emergency room physicians so we understand how busy the lives of healthcare workers can be and how hectic their schedules can get,” said Dr. Bobby Park, director of virtual healthcare for RelyMD. “We’re excited to partner with another North Carolina-based healthcare group in Well Care Home Health to provide them with a convenient time- and cost-effective alternative to emergency rooms and urgent care facilities. Our goal is to make life a little bit easier for these busy working professionals.”

”Well Care is excited to partner with RelyMD to offer virtual medical care to our team members and their dependents enrolled in the company’s medical plan 24/7/365,” said Wanda Coley, chief operating officer. “RelyMD’s innovative approach to bringing medicine where the patient is offers efficiencies to healthcare without compromising quality. Our staff can seek healthcare wherever they are, avoiding wait times in emergency room, urgent care and physician office settings. We anticipate this service will decrease the amount of missed time from work and enhance our current benefit offerings.”

A Time to Give provides customers with a complimentary watch battery replacement and in exchange requests a donation be made to that month’s designated charity. Each month Bailey’s selects a different non-profit organization to receive the donations from A Time to Give.

Since its inception in 2008, Bailey’s has donated more than $355,000 to the communities where Bailey’s stores are located (Raleigh, Rocky Mount and Greenville) through A Time to Give.

Bailey’s is a store steeped in family tradition that strives to bring a fun-loving approach to the jewelry business.

“Our family is so blessed to be able to live and work in such wonderful communities and it’s an honor to be able to give back to them,” said Doug Morgan, a family member and director of development at Bailey’s Fine Jewelry. “It’s definitely one of the best parts of my job and something we’re extremely proud of as a company.”

In 2016, A Time to Give donated to various North Carolina charities including Heart’s Cry, Baptist Children’s Home of North Carolina, Shepherd’s Heart, March of Dimes, Relay for Life, Hearts Revived, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Operation Resolute, Young Life, the Boys and Girls Club, Duke Children’s Hospital, Operation Christmas Child and more.

In addition to A Time to Give, Bailey’s also donated $9,500 in 2016 to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina to help “fight hunger right here at home” through its Share the Love campaign. For every ring purchased from the Bailey’s Signature Collection of engagement and wedding jewelry, Bailey’s donates funds to purchase 360 meals to feed a local North Carolina family.

The meal donations are made through the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina via Feeding America and the meals are distributed to various food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, children’s programs and elderly care programs throughout the area.

Fall Fundraiser Statewide at Boddie-Noell’s Restaurants Raises $88,184

RICHMOND, Va. (Dec. 5, 2016) – Customers at Hardee’s® restaurants across Virginia operated by Boddie-Noell Enterprises gave $88,184 to Special Olympics Virginia for athletes to attend the organization’s upcoming summer games. The proceeds came from customers who paid $1 for a Star and received a coupon sheet good for Hardee’s menu items during the recent five-week campaign.

The Hardee’s Star fundraising campaign helps hundreds of Special Olympics athletes participate in the 2017 edition of this annual community event. It’s the 36th year of the fundraising partnership between franchise operator Boddie-Noell and Special Olympics Virginia.

Raising the most in this year’s campaign were customers at the Hardee’s in Stuart. In second place was the Hardee’s at Celebration Station in Virginia Beach. Third in sales was the Hardee’s of Gloucester (Hayes). All 176 Hardee’s locations in Virginia operated by Boddie-Noell participated in this year’s campaign by selling the Stars.

“We’re very proud of our Hardee’s locations that did their part but especially for our generous customers who support these wonderful athletes by purchasing the Star and receiving the coupons,” said Terry Lewis, president of Boddie-Noell’s Hardee’s Restaurant Operations and a board member of Special Olympics Virginia.

“As a result of this incredible effort, Special Olympics athletes from all over the Commonwealth will attend the Summer Games,” said Rick Jeffrey, president of Special Olympics Virginia. “They will also experience all of the respect, inclusion and unity the Games have to offer as well as much-needed access to free healthcare in the areas of dentistry, optometry, audiology and fitness. Boddie-Noell and Hardee’s support of Special Olympics Virginia is unmatched!”

Boddie-Noell Enterprises, the largest Hardee’s franchise operator in the United States, has now contributed in excess of $1.6 million to the Special Olympics organization over the more than three decades they’ve partnered together. Boddie-Noell owns and operates all Hardee’s franchise restaurants across Virginia.

In addition to the 2016 Fall fundraiser, in 2017 Boddie-Noell will sponsor the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Virginia. The company will again sponsor the Summer Games in mid-June.

The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with and without intellectual disabilities. Participation provides them with continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
